Established way back in 1917, A.C Powell started The Mountain Pass Canning Company in New Mexico. Beginning as a humble farmer with 7 acres of land, his family and neighbours boosted the business and became one of the first to can tomatoes for sale.

Alongside this, they produced pinto beans, corn and chile on the ever growing farm! Then in 1938 the Old El Paso brand was created. Known for creating a hot taco sauce they've branched out and grown even more. Making best-selling tortillas, enchilada and fajita sauces, delicious guacamole and the fiery salsas you know and love!
